(Ranks: GySgt to LCpl) AN/TRC-170 Technicians are qualified to install, test, and repair super high frequency (SHF) troposcatter multi-channel communications equipment used for high capacity, point-to-point communications.

2841 Ground Electronics Transmission Systems Maintainer
Ground radios are used in communicating via radio linkage in different scenarios. Establishing this network requires experts who understand the way radio circuitry works and are able to maintain the network for adequate communication for the remainder of the mission.
